Bottaro and sustainable water management in Delebio

An innovative water recycling system for furnaces reduces water waste.

In a few days, on March 22, World Water Day will be celebrated, an occasion to reflect on the importance of sustainable management of this precious resource. In line with its commitment to the environment, Bottaro has adopted an innovative solution at its Delebio plant in Valtellina, where wire drawing and annealing take place.

The company has implemented an efficient wastewater management system for its furnaces, based on an innovative circuit of connections.

Water from an artesian well is continuously recycled and reused for furnace cooling, drastically reducing water consumption and preventing unnecessary waste.

“In our continuous efforts towards energy savings and water flow recovery, we have implemented a system that allows us to significantly reduce water consumption by recycling it sustainably,” the company states.

This project represents a concrete step toward a more responsible and environmentally conscious industry, reaffirming Bottaro’s commitment to researching innovative solutions for a more sustainable future.
