21 September: Zero Emissions Day.
A "break" day from carbon emissions
Also known as ZeDay, Zero Emissions Day was established in 2008 with the aim of giving our Planet a “break” day from carbon emissions, the cause of climate change, and raising awareness among citizens, industrialists and politicians to adopt more climate-friendly and Earth-friendly behaviors in general.
This day is a good time to ask, “How can I limit my impact on the environment?”
Bottaro has been asking this question for years, and the answer has been continuous and unending investment in production systems able to limit their impact on the environment. These include:
- 15,000 square meters of photovoltaic panels that avoid emissions of 133,170kg of CO2 per year
- The use of battery-powered forklifts in the Novate Milanese and Delebio plants.
